Nita - Assignment 3

Learning about aperture (f-stops) and shutter speeds...the lesson this week is probably that part of learning about photography that scares me the most. I just haven't really understood it very well. Not sure I could teach anyone else, but am feeling a bit more comfortable after the playing with my camera more.

Assignment 3 was to take creative photos using either a fast or slow shutter speed to create an effect. So here are a few of the photos I took while we were at the zoo on Friday....

With a slow shutter speed....

And with a fast shutter speed....

And here is one of the photos I took today with a fast shutter speed - I choose this as my photo of the day for Project365. Not enough light really and I couldn't get it to focus properly - but at least you can see what I was trying to achieve.

I love the water shot from the rainforest retreat - turned out really beautiful - & the drops worked too - glad my stick waving came in handy :-)

Yup! Stick waving was definitely worth it! Did you get any good "raindrop" photos?

not really - focus issues - my new camera must be released soon!
